I’m blushing
self care is dying at 25
Does it have to be at 25 or will any age do?
self care is dying at what ever age you WANT
I would slap my 15-year old self across the face and 15-year-old-me would probably understand.
If my thirty year old self came to slap me across the face right now I would understand
self-undiagnosing
fuck what a professional told me, im neurotypical now
some greek: why are you always looking at yourself in the mirror?
Narcissus, who’s about to invent self-love: oh? haven’t you heard?
frustrating anxiety things:
- severe executive dysfunction
- short term memory loss and focus/concentration issues
- awful overstimulation and potential self injurious behavior in an attempt to relieve it
- having your ears ring, (sometimes loud enough to drown out everything else if you’re really upset by something)
- hearing your own heartbeat
- random pain, headaches, or pins and needles
- twitching, nausea, dizziness, and hot flashes
low on self esteem, so u run on mac & cheese
is this a Halsey song
men in greek mythology? scoundrels. just terrible. woeful social skills. murderers. kidnappers. violent misogynists. most of them… never described as handsome so we have to assume they were ugly.
narcissus? unproblematic. beacon of transformative self love. king of the swerve. gay icon. couldn’t recognize his reflection but neither can my dog, we aren’t holding that against him.

I refuse to believe Narcissus could read.
i’ve been thinking about this response for the better part of 2 hours and it hasn’t gotten less hysterically funny to me
self-care is reaching under your shirt and firmly gripping your own boob
I do this for deep internal comfort all the time
